Job Description
Architecture involves a lot of paperwork. As a Permit Clerk, you will handle the administrative side of the design process. You will be responsible for encoding project specifications, filling out building permit forms, and organizing the various clearances required for a construction project to begin. This is a non-creative but essential support role that can be performed entirely from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Form Filling: Accurately type information into government building permit forms (e.g., FHA, DENR, or Taguig City Hall forms).
- Specification Encoding: Transfer technical project specifications from architects' notes into standardized Word documents.
- Clearance Tracking: Maintain a spreadsheet tracking the status of various project permits and their expiration dates.
- Digital Documentation: Rename and file scanned copies of signed contracts and approved permits.
- Email Follow-ups: Send template-based emails to consultants to request missing signatures or documents.
