Job Description

Are you always online and up-to-date with digital trends? CHC is looking for a Social Media Content Assistant to help manage our online presence. This role is focused on the execution and scheduling of posts rather than high-stakes strategy. You will be responsible for keeping our community engaged and ensuring our content calendar is updated and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Post Scheduling: Use scheduling tools (like Buffer or Hootsuite) to upload and set posting times for approved content.
  • Community Monitoring: Monitor comments and messages on our social media pages and flag any that require a response from management.
  • Content Drafting: Write short, engaging captions for social media posts based on templates provided by the team.
  • Trend Spotting: Briefly research and report on trending topics or hashtags that might be relevant to our brand.
  • Reporting: Compile simple weekly data on post likes and shares into a basic spreadsheet.

Job Requirements

  • Educational Background: High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or any related field.
  • Experience: 0-1 year of experience. Personal experience managing social media accounts is highly valued.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok platforms. Basic MS Excel skills.
  • Soft Skills: Good written communication and a "can-do" attitude toward routine tasks.
  • Work Setup Readiness: Must have a reliable internet connection as this is a fully remote position.
