Death and taxes may be certain, but the stress doesn't have to be! CHC is seeking a Tax Compliance & Reporting Assistant to ensure our subsidiaries remain in the BIR's good graces. This is a high-focus role dedicated to preparing tax returns, maintaining withholding tax records, and ensuring our statutory filings are on time, every time. Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Filing: Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly VAT, Withholding Tax, and Income Tax returns.
- Form 2307 Issuance: Ensure all suppliers receive their Certificates of Creditable Tax Withheld at Source in a timely manner.
- Compliance Audit: Periodically review internal records to ensure all transactions are compliant with current Philippine tax laws.
- Statutory Reporting: Coordinate the submission of required reports to government agencies (BIR, SEC).
- Advisory Support: Keep abreast of new RMCs (Revenue Memorandum Circulars) and help the team adapt to changes in tax regulations.
Job Requirements

- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy. CPA license is a major plus but not required if the candidate has strong tax experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience specializing in Philippine taxation.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using the BIR Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS) and eBIRForms.
- Self-Management: Must be highly disciplined and capable of meeting hard government deadlines while working remotely.
- Detail-Oriented: Mistakes in tax filing can be costly—an extreme level of accuracy is non-negotiable.
