Key Responsibilities:

• Plant Care: Plant, cultivate, water, fertilize, and prune plants, shrubs, hedges, and flowers.

• Lawn Maintenance: Perform lawn care duties including mowing, weeding, edging, and raking leaves.

• Soil Management: Prepare and treat soil for planting and utilize pesticides/herbicides for pest/weed control following safety guidelines.

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools (e.g., trimmers, edgers), and larger equipment (e.g., mowers).

• General Upkeep: Perform general grounds maintenance work, including clearing walkways and assisting with setup for outdoor facility events

• Educational Background: High School Diploma or specialized training in Horticulture or Landscaping is beneficial.

• Experience: 1+ years of proven experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance.

• Knowledge: Working knowledge of tools, materials, and methods used in grounds maintenance, plant propagation, and soil care.

• Physical Demands: This role requires sustained outdoor physical activity, including bending, kneeling, walking long distances, and lifting materials (e.g., bags of soil, tools). Must be able to work in varying weather conditions.

• Safety: Commitment to safe work practices, especially when using power tools and handling chemicals.
