Key Responsibilities:

• Washing & Drying: Operate commercial washing, drying, and pressing machines following established procedures, including proper sanitization protocols.

• Sorting and Inspection: Sort items by color, material, and cleaning requirements. Inspect linens and garments for stains or damage before and after cleaning.

• Finishing: Perform folding, pressing, and packaging of cleaned items for storage, pickup, or delivery.

• Inventory & Tagging: Create accurate laundry tags with customer information and maintain a record of items processed.

• Maintenance: Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies like detergent and fabric softener; report any equipment malfunctions to maintenance.

• Educational Background: Completion of High School or Vocational/Technical certification is generally preferred, but not required.

• Experience: Prior experience in a laundry, housekeeping, or hotel environment is an advantage, though thorough on-the-job training will be provided.

• Physical Dexterity: Ability to perform repetitive tasks (folding, loading). The role can be physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of moderate loads (e.g., full laundry bags).

• Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, and an understanding of basic health and safety protocols (especially chemical handling).

• Communication: Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions clearly.
