Key Responsibilities:
Receiving & Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders (POs) and delivery receipts, and inspect items for damage or discrepancies.
Storage & Organization: Unpack, label, and safely organize products in designated storage areas (shelves, racks, bins) to maximize space and ensure easy access.
Inventory Control: Conduct regular physical inventory counts (stock takes) and cycle counts. Utilize inventory management software (e.g., barcoding systems) to accurately record all stock movement (in/out).
Replenishment & Fulfillment: Pull and prepare stock for transfer to the retail floor or for outbound orders, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Reporting: Document and report inventory variances, shortages, or damaged goods to the Inventory Supervisor immediately.
- Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom environment, strictly adhering to all company safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Job Requirements
Educational Background: High School Graduate (K-12) or Vocational/Short Course Certificate is required. A degree or course in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience (at least 6 months) in inventory, stock keeping, or warehouse operations is an advantage, but fresh graduates with excellent organizational skills are encouraged to apply.
Soft Skills: Must be highly detail-oriented, possess strong organizational and time management skills, and demonstrate reliability and integrity (trustworthiness).
Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and tracking. Familiarity with inventory software or barcoding systems is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. The ability to lift up to 20 lbs (9 kg) unassisted is required; heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is an occasional requirement and can be modified or assigned to a team member (see accommodations).
