Job Description

Central Heavenly Corporation seeks a Freelance Corporate Copywriter to work on a contract basis for our Marketing and Communications teams. This is an ideal role for an individual who is self-motivated and excels in a remote, independent environment. You will be responsible for developing high-impact, error-free written content across various corporate needs, including website copy, annual reports, executive communications, white papers, and promotional materials. The successful candidate will manage their own time and deliver projects according to agreed-upon deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Produce clear, compelling, and brand-consistent copy for digital and print assets for CHC's diverse subsidiaries.

  • Editing & Proofreading: Rigorously edit and proofread all materials to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency, and alignment with corporate tone and voice.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration (Remote): Coordinate with Marketing, Legal, and Subject Matter Experts remotely to gather information and ensure content accuracy.

  • Deadline Management: Prioritize and manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously to meet project milestones and deadlines without direct daily supervision.

  • SEO/Accessibility Integration: Apply basic SEO principles and ensure written content adheres to digital accessibility standards where applicable.

Job Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2+ years of professional copywriting, technical writing, or journalistic experience, preferably in a corporate or agency environment. Proven portfolio required.

  • Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word and Google Docs. Experience using online collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Asana) and familiarity with style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago).

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional written communication skills, outstanding command of English grammar and style, and high organizational ability for self-management.

  • Work Setup Readiness: Must maintain a dedicated, professional remote workspace and possess excellent self-discipline for independent work and deadline adherence.
