Key Responsibilities:
Contracts Management: Administer the corporate contracts database, ensuring all legal documents (NDAs, vendor agreements, service contracts) are properly filed, tracked, and renewed.
Legal Research: Conduct preliminary legal research and fact-finding for ongoing cases, regulatory inquiries, and compliance issues under the direction of Legal Counsel.
Documentation Drafting: Assist in drafting, proofreading, and reviewing standard legal documents, including corporate resolutions, minutes of meetings, and internal policies.
Filing & Compliance: Prepare documents for submission to government agencies (e.g., SEC, IPO) and ensure the department adheres to all internal filing deadlines.
Record Keeping: Maintain a secure and organized system for both digital and physical legal records, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
Job Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Legal Management, Political Science, or a related field. Post-graduate paralegal certificate or law school units are a distinct advantage.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a law office, corporate legal department, or a compliance role focused on contracts and documentation.
Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word for legal drafting and advanced use of a Contracts Management System (CMS) or document database. Strong legal research skills are necessary.
Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, high integrity, strong analytical skills, and the absolute necessity of confidentiality in all work matters.
- Work Setup Readiness: Must be comfortable working in a quiet, focused office environment and available to travel to courts or government offices within Metro Manila for official filings when required.
