Key Responsibilities:
Drafting & Documentation: Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings (CAD, SketchUp) for space planning, furniture layouts, and interior elevations based on senior designer concepts.
Material Specification: Assist in researching, sourcing, and documenting finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) to meet project budgets and design goals.
Space Utilization Analysis: Conduct basic analysis of current and proposed space usage to maximize efficiency and flow, with an emphasis on creating accessible and inclusive environments.
Design Presentation: Prepare visual presentation boards, mood boards, and digital renderings to communicate design concepts to internal stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs and specifications comply with building codes, health and safety standards, and ADA/BP 344 accessibility requirements.
Job Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Professional license is not required but is a plus.
Experience: 0-2 years of experience. Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio showcasing drafting, rendering, and conceptual design skills are strongly encouraged to apply.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in industry-standard software is mandatory: AutoCAD, SketchUp or Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign).
Soft Skills: High level of creativity, visual aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail in drawings and specifications. Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate designs quickly.
- Work Setup Readiness: Must work primarily on-site at the Taguig Design Studio to collaborate closely with the team, manage physical material libraries, and utilize specialized plotting equipment.
