Job Description

The Staff Accountant for Financial Reporting will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of Central Heavenly Corporation’s financial statements. This position involves meticulous ledger management, reconciliation, and contribution to the timely preparation of periodic financial reports for various CHC subsidiaries. Your work directly supports executive decision-making across our diversified industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Ledger (GL) Management: Perform daily accounting activities, including journal entries, expense allocation, and month-end close procedures.

  • Account Reconciliation: Meticulously reconcile complex balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure data integrity.

  • Financial Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with established accounting standards.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., BIR).

  • Documentation: Organize and maintain all financial records and documentation for audits and internal review.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a related field is required. CPA certification is a significant advantage.

  • Experience: 1-3 years of practical experience in general accounting, journal entry posting, and financial reconciliation is mandatory, preferably within a corporate or shared services environment.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLookups, Pivot Tables) and experience with large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve complex accounting issues with minimal supervision.

  • Work Setup Readiness: Must be capable of meeting strict financial deadlines and comfortable working a standard corporate schedule.
