Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger (GL) Management: Perform daily accounting activities, including journal entries, expense allocation, and month-end close procedures.
Account Reconciliation: Meticulously reconcile complex balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure data integrity.
Financial Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with established accounting standards.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., BIR).
Documentation: Organize and maintain all financial records and documentation for audits and internal review.
Job Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a related field is required. CPA certification is a significant advantage.
Experience: 1-3 years of practical experience in general accounting, journal entry posting, and financial reconciliation is mandatory, preferably within a corporate or shared services environment.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLookups, Pivot Tables) and experience with large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve complex accounting issues with minimal supervision.
